Aereo-plain String Band

Its no secret that the members of Brushfire Stankgrass have a special affinity for the music of the late/great John Hartford.  In an effort to further explore and celebrate this music we’ve formed a side project called the Aereo-plain String Band dedicated to celebrating and exploring the music of John Hartford.  Currently you can catch the Aereo-plane String Band every Wednesday night at 6:30pm at Wicked Weed’s Funkatorium on Coxe Avenue in Asheville.  During the month of February the guys will also be holding a Pisgah Brewery residency on Thursday evenings at 6pm in Black Mountain.  Plenty of chances to bone up on your Hartford music!
