Cold Mountain Release – Winter is Coming

In Asheville, the dark days of impending winter are celebrated each November by locals, tourists, and beer geeks alike, when Highland Brewing’s Cold Mountain Winter Ale is unveiled.  It’s possibly the most anticipated winter beer release on the planet.  This Thursday at Highland Brewing, we are thrilled to headline the Cold Mountain release party, along with Blood Gypsies and River Whyless.  Come see how this year’s batch is tasting with us!

Friday Stanktour continues towards one of our favorite clubs in the Southeast, Gottrocks in Greenville, SC.  We’ve been working hard to make Greenville a staple tour stop, so help us get the word out to anyone you may know in the GSP area! Darby Wilcox and the Peep Show open, 9pm doors $7.

Continuing with beer tour, Saturday Nov 15 we’re excited to try a new WNC brewery with a date at Frog Level Brewing in Waynesville, NC.  8pm free show!

If you can’t wait that long to hear some good pickin’ check out the Aereo-Plain String Band, our John Hartford cover band side project, this Wednesday we’re doing an early 6pm show at Pisgah Brewing, and Friday November 21st we’re excited to bring that lineup to Jack of the Wood, with special guest Lyndsay Pruett on fiddle!
